OUR DIRECTOR
My name is Kim Sanders and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is my beloved Savior. On March 6, 1995 at 2:00AM., I had a Pauline conversion experience where I met the Spirit of the living God personally. There was not a fiber left in my being of who I was before that amazing night. He led me down a selfless path of love and compassion for others, especially for those mentally ill, the lost and the brokenhearted.

The Lord sent me to school at the age of 37, with horrible memories of my past school experience, a learning disability, and ADHD. I remember his faithful words, “just GO and I will take care of the rest. And so He did! I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology, with minor in Bible Studies. I continued on with my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Evangel University.

God created a passion in me to disciple and train hurting women who have not been able to function effectively in society. I personally identify with Isaiah 61:1-4: “God has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor, bind up the broken hearted and proclaim FREEDOM to the captives, releasing them from darkness, comfort those who mourn, restore their gladness and joy, and help them rebuild their lives which affects generations to come!” My spiritual gifts are teaching, shepherding, exhortation, giving, wisdom, and discernment.

I am excited about learning and trying new things; opening myself up to be filled with more of Christ and sharing Him with others. I enjoy the challenge of developing programs that reveal God’s Truth in personal growth. My goal is to lead women into a loving relationship with Jesus and train them through Biblical principles, to develop their God-given purpose in life.

OUR ADMINISTRATOR
My name is Teri Comstock and I am dedicated to Christ’s work. My credentials did not come from a fancy school, but from the school of hard knocks, as they say. I have been refined by the fire of life experience. Having gone through a childhood of dysfunction, sexual abuse, mental abuse, and abandonment, I had become suicidal by age 12 and hospitalized. I ran away from home by age 16 and by the age of 30 I had started cooking meth and was on my way to prison for 20 yrs as a prior and persistent offender. After being jailed many times and in drug rehab twice, I was convinced, as many others are, that life was hopeless. I just wanted to give up on my life; quit! But I so desperately wanted to be a mother to my three children. The devil had a hold on my life and was using me to kill others by making and dealing meth.

By the grace of God I was sent to the Teen Challenge program in Branson West, Mo and given one more chance to change my life and become a productive member of society. I spent a year at Teen Challenge renewing my mind with God’s Word and becoming what He wanted me to be. He has called me to tell those who believe they have lost all hope, that there is hope for them, that He can save them like He saved me. I worked with Kim at Teen Challenge for three years. I started as an intern, then a house mother, intake coordinator, and finally program supervisor. As the intake coordinator I worked with probation and parole officers and judges to get ladies released from jail and sentenced to our program as an option to more hopeless institutionalization.

It is my prayer that women who are tired of trying to make life work their way, will join us at Table Rock Freedom Center and experience true life, God’s way! It is my belief that the only sure way to be released from whatever has a person in bondage, whether it’s drugs, sex, money, etc., is to fall in love with Jesus and allow Him to set you free! For who the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36)!!

Lacey Jackson
Intern
My name is Lacey Jackson and I am one of Christ miracles. As a child I was raised by my grandparents because of the meth use of my parents. At the age of 17 my mother passed away from a brain aneurism that was caused by meth. I turned to the same lifestyle that destroyed her thinking it would solve my problems and take away my pain. There were times through the next few years I was able to get clean and away from that lifestyle but each time I came back I fell deeper and deeper into the devils trap. Eventually I the devil had stolen everything from me including, my dignity, all hope, and even the clothes on my back. I was in bondage to addiction and started cooking and selling meth to support my IV drug habit. By the age of 19 meth had become all I cared about. January 12, 2007 I was arrested on numerous charges which added up to a possible 15 year prison sentence when by the grace of God I was released and sent to the Teen Challenge program in Branson West, Missouri. There I met Jesus and my life was completely turned around. I have been set free through Christ and it’s only because Of him that I am alive today. I have received my healing from Him and He has replaced the hate and anger in my heart with joy hope and love…I have learned that its normal to have problems and pain, but I don’t turn to drugs to solve it, I turn to Jesus. He is my strength and with him anything is possible! I have completed the Teen Challenge program now and I am working for the Table Rock Freedom Center. I will never forget where I came from and where the Lord has brought me. Using drugs is a game that you will never win. There is a way out and that way is Jesus Christ. I am a walking proof of that.
